WORLD Football League returns for a 6th Season meaning managers who join, can represent their own country or a country of their own choice .
Please let me know of an alternative country after your 1st choice in case your 1st choice has already been taken….. although if you watch the list below in Post # 2 - you will see who has been taken
The same as last season, each manager will need to select 5 Managers ONLY . 1 Each from Elite right down to Rookie who will potentially score goals for them
This season you will choose from Race 4 onward to Race 17, as there will be 3 Leagues (or more) of 7 teams.
The team's score (goals) for any given match is the total GPRO points scored in that race, averaged and rounded up/down, regardless of their group - For example, if the 5 managers chosen score 47 points in total, that would be an average of 9.4.
That 9.4 will then be determined by the following table which is a slight change from last season
There is a slight change in the scoring system as follows :-
0.0 to 2.2 points = 0 goals
2.3 to 3.3 points = 1 goal
3.4 to 4.4 points = 2 goals
4.5 to 5.5 points = 3 goals
5.6 to 6.6 points = 4 goals
6.7 to 7.7 points = 5 goals
7.8 to 8.8 points = 6 goals
8.9 to 10. points = 7 goals
To explain more about rounded to the nearest whole number which is
4.00 - 4.49 …. Would be rounded to 4
4.50 - 4.99 …. Would be rounded to 5
It will be a league system specifically based to fit the GPRO Season and will be small leagues of 7 Managers per League and based on last season's existing teams. Once Promotion and Relegation issues are dealt with.

There may be some managers who will not be rejoining so the number of Leagues will depend on who re-joins from last season and whether or not we manage to attract new managers
The league consists of matches with a Win worth 3 points, a Draw worth 1 point and a Defeat worth ZERO points
It will be the TOP two teams for PROMOTION and the BOTTOM two teams for RELEGATION - except the PREMIER Division which will be TOP for CHAMPIONS and 2nd for Runners-Up
I will enter BOT teams into any League that is not complete IF NEED BE and their Managers will be picked VIA A RANDOM SELECTION ..... SO BEWARE as this could contain top managers from the Groups
I do wish to keep the game as simple and as easy as possible so there will only be a few rules you will have to follow and the game will require the minimum of time required
RULES
You can represent ANY country you wish but the managers you pick DO NOT have to be from your country, they can be from ANY country you wish but you have to abide by the following rules.
It is on a “First Come – First Served” basis so you may not get the country you want if someone beats you to it.
Each manager selected will score the same number of points as he/she collects in their appropriate race. All managers scores are collected and totalled.
The total is averaged between the 5 (FIVE) managers selected and then rounded up/down (whether or not all 5 managers have been picked)
That number is then calculated from the above equation and that will be the number of goals you score for that match
Normal league type rules will apply for tied positions by the following
a. Greatest Goal Difference
b. Greatest Goals For
c. Head-to-Head results
d. Should that not separate the teams, it will be decided alphabetically on SURNAMES
e. The same as last season, deadlines will be 1 MINUTE BEFORE the start of normal Race start times on all race days. Any submission AFTER race start times WILL BE IGNORED
f. Any missing submissions will result in 0 goals scored
g. An addition to last season and any Manager who misses his/her selection for 5 Managers and is playing a BOT team, will have 1 goal awarded AGAINST them allowing the BOT team more chance to make a WIN
This LATE deadline will allow you to research the managers once Qually has been completed …..BUT …. the later you leave it means it will be harder for me to correct any mistakes before the deadline so take every precaution to make sure your selection is CORRECT
This might seem a pretty easy thing to pick out the best managers for every race BUT there are stipulations on who you are able to pick for each race
You can only pick each manager ONCE in the whole season competition from whatever group he/she belongs to
There is a restriction on which Managers you pick as you have to pick ONLY 1 Manager from each group
Therefore your choices are as follows :-
1. ELITE
2. MASTER
3. PRO
4. AMATEUR
5. ROOKIE
The FINAL stipulation is that you will only be able to pick managers from
GROUPS 1 - 5 only in each level
You may submit any amount of entries if you decide to change your mind, so I will go by the latest entry that is made - I will remain flexible with this as long as each change or amendment is made within the rules of the game ....
... but please remember, the later you make your choice, the harder it will be for me to alert you of any mistakes - which if not corrected - WILL BE IGNORED
These changes are designed to hopefully make it a little bit more competitive from previous Seasons and not quite so easy to get those GREAT picks each race from Rookie / Amateur and makes strategy more important ......... so you will have to manage / choose carefully
I will top up any missing spots in the leagues with BOT teams but to start with it will be on a First come - first served in the formation of the leagues so the quicker you join - the better.
Teams from previous seasons will be where they finished after Promotion/Relegation issues are resolved so NEW JOINERS will join any spare spots after that ….
But - I will not allow NEW MANAGERS to join after the season has started as this WILL give those managers a slight advantage to their choices - they will unfortunately have to wait until the new season.
